Sur le tournage du film Zabana, realise par l'Algerien Said Ould-Khelifa et produit par Yacine Laloui. Lors de la serie d’attentats perpetres dans la nuit du 1er novembre 1954, dite nuit de la Toussaint Rouge, des independantistes algeriens penetrent dans la maison du garde forestier francais Francois Braun, et l’assassinent. Sa femme, jouee par l’actrice suisse Anne Richard, et sa fille, assistent impuissantes a la scene.<br />

Ahmed Zabana est un independantiste algerien emprisonne suite a la mort du garde forestier Francois Braun dans la nuit du 1er novembre 1954. Ayant participe au declenchement de la guerre de liberation dans la region d'Oran, et suite a cet evenement, il est condamne a mort. L’execution par guillotine a lieu  le 19 juin 1956, dans la prison Barberousse d’Alger. Considere depuis comme une veritable figure nationale, sa ville natale et plusieurs lieux d’Oran portent son nom.<br />

On the set of Zabana!, a movie by Algerian director Said Ould-Khelifa, produced by Yacine Laloui. During the series of attacks carried out on the night of the 1st of November 1954, known as the night of Red All Saints’ Day, Algerian independence fighters penetrate into the house of the French forester Francois Braun and murder him. His wife, played by Swiss actress Anne Richard, and his daughter are powerless at the scene.<br />

Ahmed Zabana, best known as Zabana, was an Algerian freedom fighter who participated in the assassination of a forest ranger named Francois Braun during the night of October 31st to November 1st, 1954. Following this event and the outbreak of the Algerian war of liberation in the region of Oran on November 1st, 1954, he was sentenced to death and guillotined. The execution took place on June 19th, 1956, in the Barberousse prison of Algiers.  He is now regarded as a national hero; his hometown and a few places in Oran are named after him.
