Fresh Turkish “Tarli” sardines are sold at the fish market on the Galata Bridge. The fish are bought and used by the restaurants on the lower level of the bridge.
The Galata Bridge crosses over the Golden Horn; an urban waterway that is the primary inlet of the Bosphorus. The current Galata Bridge was built in 1992, but the bridge has existed in various forms since the 6th century.

Sardines fraiches appelees "Tarli" vendues au marche aux poissons sur le pont de Galata, et utilisees par les restaurants sur le niveau inferieur du pont.
Le pont de Galata traverse la Corne d'Or, une voie navigable urbaine qui est l'entree principale du Bosphore. L'actul pont de Galata a ete construit en 1992, mais il existe sous diverses formes depuis le 6eme siecle.
